What will happen to Rory?

Arthur Darvill talked to SFX in a new interview and was asked about his future on the show:

When we asked him bluntly, “Will you back in series seven?” Darvill replied, “I will be coming back at some point… There is an involvement in some way.”

So, does this mean Rory will leave the TARDIS but still appear?
